Event Details

Noise for the Needy presents a special literary event with local authors Charles Cross (room full of mirrors, heavier than heaven), Jennie Shortridge (eating heaven, riding with the queen), and Garth Stein (how Evan broke his head and other secrets). Proceeds from this event will go to new beginnings. New Beginnings is a local organization that provides support to women and children whose lives have been affected by physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Their services include 24-hour emergency shelter, transitional housing, information and referrals, legal clinics, support groups, individual advocacy, and community education.
